STABOR® Line Locks quick, easy securing
instructions using the 1" version

Step 1

Insert the circular eyelet of the lure, hook or swivel, over the short shank of the STABOR® so it slides down to the left (as we view it). If you are right handed hold the lure eyelet and STABOR® eyelet between your thumb and forefinger securely.

Step 2
wpe22.gif (42294 bytes)Put your line in a loop of about 2-3 inches, placing it over the half circle, and pulling the line away from you and down (clockwise), drawing the short shank next to the long one.

Step 3
wpe26.gif (40597 bytes)Now begin wrapping your line around the long shank as seen.

Step 4

wpe28.gif (39442 bytes)Wrap your line in clockwise direction 5-7 times for (monofilament), and up to 11- 12 times when using the new High Tech lines (super-lines), around the long shank and pull both the line and pig-tail through end loop of STABOR®.  You're ready to go!

We recommend that you cut the short-tail off the thickness of your thumb for easy removal or leave it as it is. For removing reverse the direction and the spring activated STABOR® will pull back your line to easily unwind in seconds.
