Anglers preparing for first light 5:30 am departure. Wind gust 40 miles per hour, white caps and waves as high as three feet greeted the anglers as they traversed the water to their predetermined location. It was difficult for trolling and the best areas were in the coves. The northern part of the lake was silted in, which left fishing along the submerged railroad tracks and river cannels, Lake level near normal. Morning temperature 66 degrees. with a forecast to rise in the 90's. STABOR® support goes to Rick Dykstra of Junction City Kansas for promoting and doing the leg work to make our tournament a success. Filming was done by Scott Jones, President of the North American Crappie Association (NACA). Our results follow below:
